The WLI provides one of the best professional development and networking opportunities for higher education women. The theme, programming and skills building differs each year. This year’s theme is The Sacred Awakening: (Re)imagining Women of Colors’ Leadership for a New Era. When women awaken, communities rise. Join the power of sisterhood to reclaim connections, strengths, and sovereignty to lead the legacy of women of color. Engage outstanding women leaders from different fields and engage to recall, restore, and reignite the spirit of courageous women and provide pathways for women leaders of the future. From Street Cred to School Credit... Professional Development Institute

In this candid and powerful presentation, Dr. Trevor Brackett-Lambey shares the personal stories of black students overcoming incarceration to achieve academic success. They will discuss the challenges of transitioning from the justice system to a college campus, navigating stigma, and the transformative power of education. This talk is for students who may have faced similar barriers or for anyone interested in understanding the resilience of system-impacted individuals. Dr. Trevor Brackett-Lambey will also offer practical advice and insight into programs like the Rising Scholars Network, which provides critical support for students who have experienced incarceration. There will also be a student panel discussion with formerly incarcerated students.

Decolonizing the Seven Layers of Self for Black Males Professional Development Institute
Registration - $500
March 4, 2026, 9:00am-4:00pm
Led by Dr. Chase Moore, founder of the Pan-African Wellness Center and author of "Umoja Rising: Decolonizing the Seven Layers of Self," this transformative 3-hour workshop empowers school leadership teams, counselors, instructors, and service coordinators to move beyond traditional mental health frameworks and embrace a psychospiritual liberative approach to supporting Black male students.

IMPORTANT: All payments must be received by February 13, 2026. Payments will NOT be accepted onsite (including PO, credit cards, or checks). You may pay by check or with credit card. As a reminder, your full payment is due by February 13, 2026 (whichever comes first).
If payment is not received the registration is subject to cancellation.

Cancellation Policy
By completing the registration process, you are agreeing to pay the full summit registration fee. In the event that you need to cancel, your cancellation request will need to be submitted in writing to reg@execuconnect.org on or before January 9. 2026 and will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee per attendee. After January 9, 2026, all cancellations will incur the complete registration fee.
Refund Policy
No refunds will be offered on cancellations made on or after January 9, 2026. In the event a registrant does not show for the event and the full amount due has not been paid, the registrant/ institution will be billed and held responsible for full payment. Substitutions are welcome and may be made in writing up to 12:00 PM on Feb 20, 2026, without penalty.
